The hotel complex is located near a fairytale mountain called Blanik, very important
to the history of Czech Republic. It is said by a legend that buried in this mountain is
an army of hidden warriors on horses armed with bow, arrows and swords, waiting to rise from the ground when they are needed by Czech nation, to help them fight for freedom and to defend its citizens. This mountain is easily reachable on foot from the hotel
and should you wish to climb it – there are 2 pathways through the woods (one steep
and one gradually rising) you can visit a viewing tower at the top and see the hotel from
a birds eye view. There are many other places to visit within a short distance, castles, palaces with guided tours, quaint villages with their local pubs, interesting old towns such as Kutná Hora with its famous cathedral + ossuary, Tábor with its Hussite tradition
and many others. In the surroundings of the hotel a lot of wildlife can be seen, animals like deer, rabbits, hares, partridges and many kind of birds are almost guaranteed.
